Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using Project Browser, you agree to these Terms. If you use Project Browser for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization. Project Browser is provided by Edge Marketing And Design, LLC.
Product and eligibility
Project Browser is an independent macOS companion for organizing local Codex projects and optionally coordinating repository activity with a Team. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI. You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement and must have permission to access every project, repository, and Team you connect.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Project Browser for lawful personal or organizational work. You may not use the service to gain unauthorized access, interfere with service operation, evade seat limits, distribute malware, or abuse the Team or update infrastructure.
Local features
Local project organization is currently offered without charge. We may improve, replace, or discontinue features, but a future paid offering will not create retroactive charges without your affirmative purchase.
Team subscriptions
Creating a Team requires selection of a monthly or yearly subscription. The Team owner is responsible for payment and occupies one device seat. Joined members are covered by the owner's subscription. Current prices and seat limits appear in the Pricing section and in the app before checkout.
Subscriptions renew automatically using the payment method held by Stripe until canceled. Owners and admins can use Team > Settings > Manage Billing to update payment information, view invoices, or cancel. Cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current paid period; access continues through that date unless the Team is deleted earlier.
Refunds and billing disputes
Payments are generally non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds for unused time, except where required by law. Use the support form promptly for duplicate charges, billing errors, or material service failures. Chargebacks do not replace contacting us about a correctable billing problem.
Team administration
Team owners and admins control invitations, membership, and shared activity. The owner is responsible for safeguarding the Team Key, assigning administrators, transferring ownership when appropriate, and removing people who should no longer have access. Removing a member revokes that installation and rotates the invitation.
Your projects and content
You retain ownership of your projects and content. You grant us only the limited right to process Team metadata necessary to operate the features you enable. You are responsible for repository permissions, the accuracy of shared status, backups, and compliance with agreements governing Codex, OpenAI, Git hosts, and other third-party services.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Project Browser and the Team service available, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Codex's local data formats and integrations may change independently of Project Browser. We may release required security or compatibility updates and may limit abusive traffic to protect customers and infrastructure.
Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Project Browser is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. Git status, conflict warnings, token estimates, and work summaries are informational and should not replace source control, review, backups, or professional judgment.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Edge Marketing And Design, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of data, or interruption of business. Our aggregate liability relating to a paid Team will not exceed the amount paid for that Team during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
Termination
You may stop using Local features at any time and may cancel a Team subscription through Manage Billing. We may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, abuse, security threats, or material violation of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Lewis and Clark County, Montana will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
Contact and changes
Questions may be submitted through the support form. We may revise these Terms by publishing an updated version and effective date. Material changes to paid service terms will be communicated through reasonable means.
